jobQ: Focus on You

You don’t know what you don’t know. Ignorance may be bliss, but in the case of your identity, and how your unique style fits a career, what you don’t know could be ruining your life. Or at the very least, causing a lot of unneeded stress.

I’m sure most of you have seen graphics outlining the stages of learning like this before, but just in case – here’s a little refresher:

Stages of Learning-page-001

Awareness will only take you so far – though you may be surprised how far simple awareness will actually take you. It takes a willingness to change and grow to move out of the realm of conscious incompetence, and develop the habits that will make the most out of you being you.

Mastery is the goal. It is a combination of time, and conscious habit forming. Once all the pieces are in the right place, simple repetition will take you from Padowan to Jedi Master in an area where you were once blissfully ignorant.

While we ultimately encourage everyone towards their Jedi destiny, our focus at jobQ is in the areas of Awareness and Development. Our Blueprint process is more focused on awareness, whereas our blog and other online resources target specific development strategies, with optional one-on-one coaching.

Here is an example of what a jobQ Career Blueprint can show you:
